<em>Science on the Move</em>

Science on the Move is a travelling exhibition that is portable enough to bring the excitement of interactive science to remote and regional locations, science fairs and community celebrations yet suitable for larger venues as well.

Visitors enjoy a hands-on experience while discovering more about music and sound, human biology, light, force, motion, electricity, ecology, health and genetics. The bright banners and unique hanging exhibits featured in the design of Science on the Move are popular with both major science centres and regional galleries.

Science on the Move has a broad range of scientific themes, including:

  • Light
  • Sound
  • Mass
  • Mathematic patterns, such as topology
  • Human perception and
  • Human physiology

Audience

The exhibition is targeted primarily at children aged between 8 and 14 years old but can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Science on the Move includes 33 interactive exhibits.

Host Venue Provides

  • Hire fee
  • All return freight costs
  • Insurance during travel and for static risk cover at the venue
  • Two local technicians over a day to install and two local technicians over a day to dismantle the Exhibition.

  • Pallet jack
  • Storage space for spares box

Hard level floor capable of supporting 5 tonnes

Minimum Gallery Height

2.6 metres

Install/Deinstall Time

It takes one day to install and one day to deinstall the exhibition.
